cloudy skies, dry conditions by the afternoon and it will be quite mild as well. a shower is possible on halloween, but most of halloween looks dry as well. right now, it's 64 in manassas, but down to 55. 54 as a matter of fact in gaithersburg and 62 degrees right now in d.c. so you can see that cloud cover on the way here on satellite and radar. the showers that are approaching. you can see most of the heavy rain has already been rained out of the system. so as it arrives, just some light scattered showers. good news for us. as we are looking at 9 future cast, you can see that cloud cover building in by midnight. for the morning commute, the clusters of showers moving through. just a few flicks of the windshield wipers, no heavy rain. you may not need that rain gear. the rain starts to move off to the east and we will see some clearing, a few peeks of shine possible on wednesday afternoon. but a few sprinkles are still possible as we head into the day on thursday.
